Dan Miller is our character athlete of the month for August. Dan Miller is a regular in our afternoon boot camps. Dan works for the military, he was a basketball and baseball player during high school. His main hobby and current athletic pursuit is mountain climbing, Dan has climbed Mtn. Fuji in Japan and is now planning a climb up the cascade mountains in Washington State. His next adventure after that will be in Argentina. He hopes one day to conquer Mtn. Everest. He loves the boot camps because they help him with mountain climbing in terms of stamina and strength and he also loves the variety of workouts. Dan never stops a workout until it is completely finished. Even if he must stay a little bit longer to finish his workout he will. Dan doesn’t know what it means to not finish. This is where his perseverance appears the most. We commend Dan Miller by awarding him “Perseverance Character Athlete of the Month”
