Tucker Simkins – D1 Tampa Character Athlete of The Month

Tucker Simkins is June’s Character Athlete of the Month. It is very fitting that Responsibility is the word of the month as Tucker has demonstrated just that from the beginning of his membership with D1 Tampa. At the very beginning of January 2013, 13 year old Tucker came into D1 Tampa for the first time with his little brother to inquire about D1. He asked many questions and got all the information he needed before making the decision to sign up. Later that day he called his Father to sign the paperwork on his behalf and he paid the membership with the money he saved up. Since then, Tucker shows up to class at least 4 times per week and sometimes more. He works hard and has already made good gains. Way to go Tucker, D1 is proud of you!
