Sam Tovar – D1 Orlando Character Athlete of The Month
September 10, 2013 – Sam Tovar has overcome many obstacles and trials in his life. He has used D1 as an outlet for his stress and always comes willing to learn and work hard. We are proud to have Sam and are inspired by his work ethic and all he has persevered through. Sam started coming to D1 in hopes to make his dream of being in the Olympics for track and field come true. We congratulate Sam on receiving the “Perseverance Character Athlete of the Month Award”
