Mary Tate Thomas – D1 Birmingham Character Athlete of the Month
October 31, 2013 – Our D1 character athlete of the month is Mary Tate Thomas. Mary Tate is a goalkeeper for her BUSA soccer club. She is an a+ 15 yr old student at Mountain Brook High School. She is also training for several upcoming 5k races. This dynamic student athlete believes in Discipline and taking care of your responsibilities while still helping others. Even with her busy schedule she has found time to do mission work in Africa. She has been training consistently with Coach Dj, sometimes even on Sundays, for the past two years.
