January 29, 2013 – This month’s Character Athlete is 17 year old Hayden Nagel. Hayden is a senior at Sickles High School who shows a lot of promise in his football career. He joined D1 Tampa just three months ago and has always demonstrated an eagerness to learn and get better. Since November, he has consistently come to 4 or more classes per week and has always showed up early and ready to work.

The word of this month is “Respect”. Hayden not only demonstrates respect towards his coaches but also towards his peers and other D1 staff. That is why we are proud to announce Hayden Nagel as Character athlete of the month!
