March 4, 2013 – Kristen has been a part of D1 for a few short months but has shined as a dominating athlete on and off the turf. She is a freshman at St. Josephs and not only is the fastest girl on her track team but also loves swimming and competes competitively on the swim team at school and at Thornblade in the summer. Kirsten makes it priority to come to D1 several times a week and stays late each time to do extra hip strength activities that Coach Mario passingly recommended. Kristen said the reason she works so hard is because she loves the sport and wants to go to the next level. Honor directly correlates with distinction and being held in a high regard. Kristen perfectly exemplifies both characteristics and D1 is proud to name her as the athlete of the month.
