Chandler Donegan – D1 Birmingham Character Athlete of the Month
January 27, 2014 – D1 Birmingham’s Character Athlete of the Month for the month of January is Chandler Donegan. Chandler is one of our Prep athletes. Chandler is a 17 year who attends Hope Christian School and plays baseball for the Central Alabama Baseball Association. Even with work, school, and practice, Chandler never fails to attend the Prep class at least 4 times a week. When you ask our coaches about Chandler, there is one word that is always used, RESPECTful. I have never heard him answer anyone without addressing them with “yes sir” or “no sir” and is extremely polite to everyone in the facility. His attitude and the way he carries himself makes him a great role model for the younger athletes in the facility.
