September 17, 2013 – Boot Camper, Andy Williams, has what it takes to do anything. Some things come harder to Andy, who has fused vertebrae in his neck limiting his neck and back mobility. This doesn’t stop him though. He finishes every rep of every set and does it with a smile on his face. He has already made tremendous strides since joining D1 Jackson when we opened in May 2013 and is on track to reach several more goals. The only thing Andy does as much as boot camp is saltwater fish. He and his wife Cheryl travel everywhere from the Gulf of Mexico to the Caribbean to the Pacific Ocean to deep sea fish and his trophies show it. Andy defines PERSEVERANCE, our Character Word of the Month, and has been chosen as our Character Athlete for the month of August.
