Cooper Grad Fighting Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
August 1, 2013 – A Cooper High School graduate is fighting Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Doctors say he may have had the cancer since high school.
Kristian Brown entered the Air Force after college and struggled to make it through basic training. After he managed to get through boot camp, he immediately took a medical withdraw.
The illness and treatment of chemotherapy are taking a toll on his body and he is now working out daily at D1 Sports Training in Abilene to keep his body strong.
He is expected to be fully recovered by October and re-join the Air Force.
