D1 Orlando – Summer Camps

May 23, 2013 – D1 Summer Camps are here. Read below for info on the D1 Basketball Training Camp and D1 Baseball Training Camp.

D1-Youth-Sports

The D1 BASKETBALL TRAINING CAMP will be 5 days of speed, agility and strength training geared specifically towards both male and female basketball athletes. Each day will focus on various aspects of the game including, but not limited to: lateral speed and quickness, explosive vertical power, upper and lower body strength development, and coordination work. Athlete’s will learn various exercises and drills that they can perform on their own following the completion of camp that will allow them to continually progress their training throughout the summer and into their upcoming season.

Daily camps will last approximately 90 minutes, and athletes are expected to arrive 15 minutes before class begin with water and shoes that are appropriate for turf work and weight training.

WHEN: June 17-21
TIME: 10:30 AM – NOON

WHO: Boys and Girls Ages 13-17

The D1 BASEBALL TRAINING CAMP will be 4 days of baseball specific training including: speed and agility, prehab, conditioning/endurance and strength training. Each session is limited to 20 participants. Led by Coach Tyronne Davis who has experience as an MLB Strength and Conditioning Coach.

WHEN: July 8-11
AGES/TIMES: Age 10-14 @ NOON – 1:30 PM
Age 15-18 @ 3:30 – 5:00 PM
WHERE: D1 Orlando
COST: $200
