April 18, 2013 – D1 Jackson will be officially unveiled on Friday, May 3. The sports training & therapy facility, located in Madison, will host an invitation-only D1 Jackson Grand Opening event in the afternoon. Later in the evening, D1 Jackson members will participate in the Michael Oher & Antonio Johnson D1 Jackson Training Experience. For more information, visit D1Jackson.com.
The D1 Jackson Grand Opening will provide community leaders and special guests a sneak-peak of the new, 20,000+ square foot facility with a reception, special program and tours.
Following the afternoon festivities, D1 Jackson pro athlete co-owners Michael Oher and Antonio Johnson will host a training event for D1 Jackson members.
During the training event, D1 Jackson members will have the exclusive opportunity to be trained by Oher & Johnson, with the assistance of D1 coaches. The training experience is free to D1 Jackson members. A limited number of D1 Jackson memberships are currently available.
The Michael Oher & Antonio Johnson D1 Jackson Experience schedule is as follows:
7:00 – 7:45 PM – Rookie (ages 7-11)
7:00 – 7:45 PM – Adult Boot Camp
7:45 – 8:30 PM – Developmental (Ages 12-14)
7:45 – 8:30 PM – Prep (Ages 15-18)
D1 Jackson, located at 214 Parkway East in Madison, will officially open to the public on Saturday, May 4. The state-of-the-art facility has an indoor turf field, collegiate-style weight room, locker rooms and a sports therapy clinic geared toward athletes and athletic injuries.
