March 4, 2013 – D1 Columbus Character Athlete for the month of February, Honor, is Liam McCullough. Liam is a Junior at Worthington Kilborne High School. Liam demonstrates honesty, fairness and integrity in everything he does on and off the football field, and in every workout with his peers here at D1. Liam, after going to a National Snapping Combine in Las Vegas 3 weeks ago, finally reached his goal of being the overall number 1 long snapper for his age in the nation. His achievement proves that his training has pushed him to a new level. With his drive, desire, and determination, Liam continues to set the standard for the Prep class. Liam continues to push himself and his peers in the hopes for a future scholarship to a Division 1 program that will allow him to pursue his goal of playing collegiate football. We are proud of Liam here at D1 Columbus and award him the Character Athlete, Honor, for his effort and continuous work ethic and consistent belief in what we do.
