Summer Powers D1 Abilene – Character Athlete of The Month
March 4, 2013 – D1 Abilene recognizes Summer Powers as the Character Athlete of the Month for HONOR . Summer works extremely hard and pushes herself to new limits each day. She immediately sets the tone at the beginning of every workout and is a natural leader. She also sacrifices personal glory for the good of other individuals in her class. Summer is constantly encouraging, motivating, and pushing everyone around her. Her work ethic, class, dignity, and HONORable behavior towards others in her class are what brings out the best in everyone.
